William Presler has filed a lawsuit against the Oscar winner, stating that Foxx has ruined any chances of him becoming a neurosurgeon due to hand injuries received while working for the actor.
In 2007, the Soloist star organized a party with a bar made from ice. Foxx hired a team of bartenders, including Presler, to serve drinks.
According to TMZ, Presler fell during the party, injuring his hand. The cut required 170 stitches, and despite having surgery, Presler’s hand is now permanently damaged.
Presler, who had already started medical school, now has to abandon his dream of becoming a surgeon.
