Director and producer McG is in talks to direct the film adaptation of the dramatic rock Broadway musical, Spring Awakening.
The action is set in 19th century Germany, where teens discover their sexuality and learn about masturbation, rape, abortion and suicide.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, McG is negotiating to act as director and producer.
Currently, McG is at the helm of Terminator Salvation, opening in theatres on May 22.
