TMZ reports that a man tried to enter Foxx’s hotel room in Philadelphia on March 22.
Foxx physically pushed the 49-year-old man out of the room. The stalker had told the actor that he was one of Beyonce Knowles’ producers. The Oscar winner realised once he opened the door that he didn’t know the man, and slammed the door in his face.
Nine days later, security officers spotted the stalker near the hotel. The man was arrested for burglary, criminal threats, harassment and arbitrary detention.
