Nicolas Cage decided to get rid of the Bavarian castle that he purchased two years ago, reports People.
The 45-year-old actor recently sold his fortress, called Schloss Neidstein, to his former German advisor, attorney Konrad Wilfurth.
Cage bought the property in July 2006, inspired by his German mother, Joy Vogelsang. He immediately fell for the charms of the building, saying, "I liked the architecture and the gigantic forest."
Cage visited his castle for the last time one year ago, in May 2008. He owns another one in England called the Midford Castle.
