Champion cyclist Lance Armstrong is determined to be part of the Tour de France in July to become an eight-time champion, reports Starpulse.com.
The biker hopes to enter the race, despite undergoing an operation this morning (March 25). Armstrong broke his clavicle during an accident that took place on Monday (March 23) while racing in Spain.
His team agent, Johan Bruyneel, stated that the injury is not serious enough to prevent Armstrong from getting back into shape for the prestigious competition.
This will be Armstrong’s first attempt of winning back his title since he retired from the sport in 2005. He returned to competitive cycling last year.
