Clint Eastwood to Direct His Son

Clint Eastwood will be directing his son Scott in his next film.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Clint Eastwood will once again direct his son, Scott Eastwood (also known as Scott Reeves) in his next yet-untitled film.

Scott appeared in his father’s films Grand Torino and Flags of Our Fathers. This time, he will also co-star with Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon.

Inspired by the book Playing Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Made a Nation, the film will follow how South African president, Nelson Mandela, and the captain of the national rugby team, Francois Pienaar, succeeded in reuniting the country, thanks to the Rugby World Cup in 1995.

Scott Eastwood also starred in Pride and in American Crime. He has two films due out this year that are currently in postproduction, Shannon’s Rainbow and The Lion of Judah.
