Following the launch of her Oscar-sweeping film, Slumdog Millionaire, Freida Pinto is now up for the part of James Bond’s heartthrob in the next Bond flick.
Producers of the hit franchise have asked the beautiful Indian actress to audition, even though Pinto already captivated the crew in 2007, during the preproduction days of Quantum of Solace.
"Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum Of Solace. She was too young at the time to play a love interest for a secret agent. But she is ready now," Bond producer Barbara Broccoli explained to The Sun tabloid.
Broccoli is still convinced that Pinto would be perfect alongside Daniel Craig, who is the current James Bond.
