According to FemaleFirst, the younger sister of Britney Spears is ready to put aside her acting career to focus on singing, and she’s already been working on new material in Nashville.
A source revealed, "Jamie Lynn has quietly been working on a country album since last fall."
The younger Spears has been living in Mississippi since the birth of her daughter, Maddie, last June. She recently realised that she’s ready to be back in the public eye once again. She is still looking for a recording contract before making the album.
