According to People, the singer appeared in court yesterday (March 5) to face felony charges following the violent attack on his girlfriend, Rihanna.
If found guilty, Brown could face up to 4 years and 8 months behind bars. His hearing was set for April 6.
The judge issued an order to Brown, saying, "Mr. Brown, you are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone."
Rihanna was not present in court, but her lawyer attended the hearing. He mentioned that due to the extreme media frenzy over the story, his client chose not to attend. Also, Rihanna did not request a restraining order against Brown, since the two have now reconciled.
