Demaris Meyer, the woman who was in the car with Freeman when he had an auto accident last summer, plans to file charges against the 71-year-old actor, reports People.
The 48-year-old woman is asking for $75,000 in damages for injuries sustained in the accident, and also for her reputation being tarnished.
After the incident, Meyer was believed to be Freeman’s mistress. "I was not and never have been his mistress, nor was I the cause of his marital breakup," insisted Meyer, who added that she was simply having dinner with Freeman and some friends that night.
