People announced that the star of the recent Grammy Awards, M.I.A., delivered her son last Wednesday (February 11) in Los Angeles.
"My early stage labour kicked in around 2 am. My baby was born Wednesday, he is healthy, fine, beautiful and the most amazing thing ever on this planet, of course I’m his mum!!!"
The baby is the first child for M.I.A. and her fiance, Benjamin Brewer, who announced the pregnancy last October.
Motherhood won’t be slowing the singer down. On February 22, she will be attending the Oscar Awards to perform her song, O Saya, which is up for the Song of the Year trophy.
