CBS Films has announced that actress Keri Russell (Bedtime Stories, Mission: Impossible III) signed a deal to star in the unofficially titled film Crowley.
Russell will play opposite Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford, who have already confirmed their participation on the film.
Russell will play Aileen Crowley, the wife of John Crowley (Fraser), whose two children suffer from a rare genetic disease. Their only hope is to turn to an unconventional scientist (Ford) who may hold the cure that could help the two children.
The film is based on a true story which made the subject of an article in the Wall Street Journal, as well as Geeta Anand’s book called The Cure.
