Scarlett Johansson Considers Iron Man 2

Scarlett Johansson may be replacing Emily Blunt in the role of the Black Widow in Iron Man 2.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Johansson is in talks with Marvel Studios to play Natasha Romanoff, better known as the Black Widow, in the next Iron Man flick.

Emily Blunt was first approached to play the part, but the actress was already signed to shoot Gulliver’s Travel for 20th Century Fox.

Marvel has not confirmed the news, but inside sources have revealed that Scarlett Johansson has been meeting with the film’s director.

In the meantime, Emily Blunt’s agents are trying to arrange her schedule so that she can do both films.  Gulliver’s Travel is set to begin shooting on April 15.  No start date has been announced for Iron Man 2.
