According to TMZ, Rihanna told investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department that Brown had abused her before the incident prior to the Grammy Awards, which led to his arrest.
The singer described Brown as having a violent and unpredictable temper.
Brown’s lawyer, Mark Gerados, refused to comment on the allegation. Brown will meet with police next week for questioning, and will be in court on March 5.
