Actress Halle Berry is ready to give her hair a complete makeover. She agreed to shave off her hair for her new role in a romantic comedy called Nappily Ever After, debuting in 2010.
She told Essence magazine, "I’m shaving it off! I know. Here comes the controversy, but… it’ll grow back – I hope!"
She admits that this decision was made with her 11-month-old daughter Nahla in mind, in hopes that her girl would be proud of her career.
Berry explained, "I don’t want my daughter to look back at my work and think, ‘Mom sold out.’ I want to leave a legacy that she can be proud of."
