The group Coldplay can rest easy that there won’t be a scandal at the Grammy Awards ceremony.
Guitarist Joe Satriani, who is suing the band for plagiarism, has no plans to make a scene during the event.
Satriani is filing a suit against the group on allegations that Chris Martin stole melodies from his instrumental song in 2004, I Just Wanna Fly, and used them in Viva La Vida.
Coldplay denied the accusations on their Website, but the guitarist and his attorneys still intend to follow through with the lawsuit.
However, contrary to rumours, Satriani will not be serving the band papers during Grammy night.
