Hilary Duff Responds to Dunaway Insult

Hilary Duff has responded to Faye Dunaway’s claims of her not being a real actress.

A war of words seems to have broken out between actresses Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway.

It all began when the remake of the 1967 classic Bonnie and Clyde was announced, in which Duff will play the role of Bonnie Parker.

Dunaway, who earned an Oscar nomination for her performance in the original film, spoke of her serious doubts about the projects, saying, "Couldn’t they have at least cast a real actress?"

Yesterday (February 3), the 21-year-old star replied, "I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too."

Moviegoers can judge for themselves in 2010, when The Story of Bonnie and Clyde invades theatres.
