The New York Post announced that Katie Holmes is wanting more of Broadway.
The actress is now going for a role in Finding Neverland, a musical adaptation of the story seen on film in 2004, which featured Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet.
According to the paper, the 30-year-old star was invited by producers to do a first reading. She could be playing the wife of Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie.
A source, who was assisting during rehearsals, revealed that Holmes’ role was a minor one but that it has some nice moments, and added that Holmes gave a very good performance.
Certain critics argue, however, that the show needs to be revamped by its creators.
