Cher and Knoxville have joined the cast of the upcoming comedy from Ricky Blitt (The Ringer), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film will tell the story of a 35-year-old student (Knoxville) who gets thrown out of the house by his parents. He then finds himself sleeping on the couch of his 62-year-old neighbour (Cher), who provides him with food and shelter because she thinks he is being a male role model for her son, even though the two men are the same age.
Ricky Blitt wrote the screenplay and will direct the project. Cher’s last film was Stuck on You in 2003.
