According to Variety, New Regency has acquired the film rights to Josh Bazell’s novel of the same name.
The film follows the life of an emergency room doctor in the witness protection program. His entire world starts to fall apart when he is recognised by someone as a former mob hitman.
DiCaprio will be producing the film with Julie Yorn and Jennifer Davisson Killoran.
In the meantime, we can see DiCaprio sharing the screen once again with his Titanic co-star, Kate Winslet, in the film Revolutionary Road, opening on January 23. He will also star in Shutter Island, which hits theatres next October.
