During an interview with the Telegraph, director Baz Luhrmann revealed that he will not be doing another project with Nicole Kidman.
According to the filmmaker, their collaborations, which seem to be fruitful, tend to bring too many upheavals in their personal lives.
"On Moulin Rouge! she was breaking up with Tom Cruise, and my father died on the first day of filming," said Luhrmann.
While filming Australia, the 41-year-old actress announced to her director that she was expecting a baby in the middle of the project, when she believed that she could not conceive.
"We both said we can’t make another movie together because there are only so many life-transforming events we can go through," concluded the director.
