Kim Cattrall has joined the cast of the film The Ghost, a Roman Polanski political thriller. She will be play the seductive secretary and confidant to the British prime minister, played by Pierce Brosnan.
While the minister leaves his position, he chooses to write his memoirs through a ghost writer (Ewan McGregor), who will dig up past policies that compromised human rights.
The film is based on a novel by Robert Harris, who also took part in writing the script. Filming is set to begin in early 2009.
In the meantime, Kim Cattrall will star in the comedy Miss January, which is set to open in theatres next year.
