In the latest issue of Us Weekly, the 41-year-old star revealed that she found a tumour the same week as the final show. Braxton explained, "I was worried about what they would find. But it was benign."
Doctors discovered the tumour during a routine exam in August, but weren’t alarmed. Braxton then continued to compete on Dancing with the Stars.
After she was eliminated from the competition on October 20, doctors found that the tumour had grown, and then decided to remove it through surgery.
