Blur Announces a Reunion

Nine years after they gave their last concert, the foursome Blur has announced an imminent return.

Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree will hit the stage at London’s Hyde Park this summer.

The show will take place on July 3, and will be the first concert for the group since they performed at London’s Royal Festival Hall in 2000, before Coxon quit the group in 2002.

Blur, which was formed in 1989, recorded seven discs and became one of the biggest English groups of the 90s. The band’s last album, Think Tank, was released in 2003.

Singer Damon Albarn went on to form another successful group called the Gorillaz. Last September, he mentioned that his band is working on their next disc.
