Although it seems that Sin City 2 will be moving ahead afterall, Mickey Rourke won’t be part of the process.
The actor said in a recent interview that he’s no longer interested in the Frank Miller film. In order to play Marv, Rourke has to spend three hours each day having makeup applied, which he detests.
The first Sin City film earned more than $99 million at box offices around the world.
Rourke is currently filming 13, a remake of the film 13 Tzameti. The actor plays a new character who was not part of the original film.
In the meantime, we can see Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler, opening on December 17, Killshot, opening on January 23, and The Informers, which hits theatres on May 1.
