According to News of the World, singer Amy Winehouse will have to pay her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, a part of her fortune if she wants her divorce to be quick, but most of all, to prevent him from digging up the dirt on their marriage.
Friends of the troubled star informed the tabloid that Fielder-Civil is much greedier than he seems, even though he claimed that he had no intentions of getting rich from Winehouse’s income.
“That’s all pretence — Blake has asked Amy’s manager for £1 million (US$1.6 million) to walk away from their marriage and not write a tell-all book about it. He’s so two-faced. He just wants a pay-off. Money’s his driving force,” said the friends.
The British star is worth $14.6 million.
