Anna Wintour Not Being Replaced

The latest rumours saying that Anna Wintour would be replaced by Vogue France‘s editor-in-chief are false.

As a result of the disappointing sales of Vogue, Teen Vogue, and the closing of Men’s Vogue this year, several rumours began to circulate that Vogue‘s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, was fired, reports FashionTelevision.

Recently, blogs have been posted, such as on Gawker, saying that S.I. Newhouse Jr. of Condé Nast Publications, went to Paris to talk to Vogue France‘s editor-in-chief, Carine Roitfeld, to negotiate a contract to replace Wintour in the United States.

After learning this news, Newhouse stated, "It’s the silliest rumor I ever heard. There’s no truth to it."

Roitfeld also denied the rumour saying that she was in London for a photo shoot and that she is very happy at Vogue France.
