Neve Campbell is making a return to the small screen and will star in the NBC series, The Philanthropist. This will mark the actress’ return to a regular role on TV.
The series follows a billionaire named Teddy, played by James Purefoy, who uses his fortune, contacts and power to help people in need around the world.
Campbell will play the wife of Teddy’s business partner and long-time friend, Phillip (Jesse Martin).
The actress is expected to head for South Africa soon, where filming begins.
She is currently shooting Vivaldi in Italy with Gerard Depardieu.
Campbell was the star of the series, Party of Five, between 1994 through 2000. Since then, she has participated in episodes of Medium and Burn Up.
