The rock star disappointed his record label, Geffen, and fans when he disappeared without promoting the latest Guns N’ Roses disc, Chinese Democracy. The album was released last week after being talked about for 15 years, reports FemaleFirst.
A source revealed, "People have been trying to contact Axl for two months and he’s completely AWOL [Absent Without Leave]. It is frustrating because the album would have had a much better chance of going to number one if he had only been prepared to show his face."
The album Chinese Democracy cost nearly $13 million US to produce, making it the most expensive album in music history.
