Actress Winona Ryder had to be taken to a hospital after she became ill on board a British Airways flight from the United States to London.
A representative for Hillingdon Hospital in Oxbridge said that Ryder was treated at the Heathrow Airport’s health centre.
According to a spokesperson for the airline, the pilot requested a priority landing due to the medical emergency.
Flight attendants took care of the actress during the flight, and one of them accompanied her to the hospital.
The cause of Ryder’s illness is still unknown.
