The singer, who suffered from depression in the public eye earlier this year, which resulted in her father Jamie taking control of her affairs, recently surprised her fans by taking life back into her own hands, reports FemaleFirst.
However, the 26-year-old star revealed that she is still not happy, and that the control that people have over her life makes every day feel, "like Groundhog Day."
She said, "There’s no excitement, there’s no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there’s the time when you’re going to get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like ‘Groundhog Day’ every day."
Spears will release her new album, Circus, on December 2, which is also her 27th birthday.
