Clint Eastwood Considers Directing Hereafter

Clint Eastwood is reportedly going to direct a supernatural thriller, which would be in the same nature as The Sixth Sense.

Clint Eastwood has begun talks with DreamWorks Pictures to direct the supernatural thriller, Hereafter.

DreamWorks, headed by Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider, acquired the screenplay from Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon) in March at the time the company was still owned by Paramount Pictures. DreamWorks held on to the project during the separation, meanwhile keeping Eastwood interested.

Details on the film are being kept top secret, however, there was talk of it being similar to The Sixth Sense.

Eastwood and Spielberg have already worked together on Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima.

In the meantime, we can see Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino, which he also directed. The film hits the big screen on January 16.
