Before he began his solo career, Rod Stewart was the lead singer for the group The Faces, in which Ronnie Wood was also a member before he joined the Rolling Stones. That was the turning point for the group to break up in 1975.
Stewart confirmed that all the original Faces members, except for bassist Ronnie Lane, who died in 1997, would be jamming together in rehearsal before they make their official return.
The bassist who tours with Rod Stewart will be replacing Lane. The other group members are Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones.
