Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Matthew Goode will be starring in the independent drama called A Single Man, according to a report from Variety.
The film will be the directorial debut for Tom Ford, a former Gucci designer, who also co-wrote the script with David Scearce.
A Single Man will tell the story of a British college professor who loses his 16-year partner.
The film was adapted from a 1964 novel by Christopher Isherwood about a day in the life of the professor who winds up in Los Angeles.
Filming will begin next week in L.A.
We can soon see Colin Firth in Genova and Easy Virtue, however opening dates for the films have not been revealed.
