The Beastie Boys, who are participating in the Get Out and Vote tour to encourage people to vote in the presidential elections, are also working on their next album, reports Billboard.com.
The disc will follow 2007’s The Mix-Up.
Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz said that the group was in fact in the middle of recording the album and that they hope to release it sometime next year.
Always ready to speak their minds, the trio promises to get a little political. "It’s a lot of vocals, a lot of words — very wordy. And it’s political, depending on what you call political," described Ad-Rock.
