The announcement was made yesterday (October 15) during Slim Shady’s party on the airwaves celebrating his upcoming book, The Way I Am.
No official statement has yet been released, however Eminem also played the song I Need a Relapse after the announcement.
He added that Dr. Dre produced the majority of the disc because he wanted to concentrate more on the song lyrics.
No date has been announced, but it looks like somewhere in the beginning of 2009.
This will be the singer’s first complete album since the release of Encore in 2004.
