After having worked with Christian Lacroix and the designer Moebius, Petit Larousse Illustrated is calling upon Karl Lagerfeld to change the look of the 2009 encyclopedia, reports Vogue.fr.
The new edition, in black and silver, features Lagerfeld on the jacket. The book’s symbol since 1890 was changed by Lagerfeld to be sexier, wearing only long blue gloves. The new Petit Larousse Illustrated will be available on November 4.
