The singer, who is dating Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy, admits that she was dependent on alcohol until her big musical breakthrough, reports FemaleFirst.
She revealed, "It was really difficult, drinking became a problem. It got out of control until I said, ‘OK – back to work.’"
The 23-year-old star recently explained that she found it difficult to appear at major events without having a drink in hand.
