Two years after Rochas stopped making its ready-to-wear collection, the company has decided to sign a manufacturing and distributing contract with Gibo to make a return in March 2009.
It seems that the company’s perfume sales were insufficient for the Procter & Gamble corporation, under which Parfums Rochas was an affiliate.
Gibo is a subsidiary of the Japanese company, Onward Kashiyami, that produces for big names such as Marc Jacobs, John Galliano and Chloé.
The first ready-to-wear collection will also feature accessories. The project’s artistic director has not yet been announced.
