The singer and actress, who gave birth to twins with her husband Marc Anthony last February, admitted that she was going through a difficult time in her life when she was filming Enough in 2002, reports FemaleFirst.
Lopez recalled, "There was a time when I was very overworked and I was doing music and movies and so many things. I was suffering from a lack of sleep. And I did have a kind of nervous breakdown. I froze up in my trailer. I was like, ‘I don’t want to move. I don’t want to talk. I don’t want to do anything.’ It was on that movie Enough."
The star added that at the time, she didn’t want people to know that she was struggling, because she didn’t want to appear weak.
Lopez consulted a therapist and a doctor, and it was recommended that the star take a break from her career.
