During an interview with Essence magazine, the 27-year-old singer finally decided to share details on her marriage with Jay-Z, whom she secretly wed in April.
"What Jay-Z and I have is real," expressed Beyoncé, who added that her husband loves her, flaws and all.
When asked about the reasons she keeps her love life private, she replied, "I never talked about relationships. I only talk about them in my songwriting, otherwise things get too messy. It has worked out because now nobody expects me to talk about them."
But keeping quiet can be tough for the star. She confessed, "But it’s hard too. You fall in love and you want to tell everybody."
