The Hollywood Reporter revealed that actresses Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter are joining Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska to star in Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, directed by Tim Burton.
The film will use a combination of real footage and computer graphics.
We know that Mia Wasikowska will be Alice, Johnny Depp will play the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway will have the role of the White Queen, who is banished by her sister, the Red Queen, played by Helena Bonham Carter.
The release date of the film is scheduled for March 5, 2010.
In the meantime, we can see Anne Hathaway in Passengers on October 24 and in Bride Wars, opening on January 9, 2009.
