After being home to raise her adopted son, Liam, for the past several years, the star decided to return to television. In 2006, she began working on the series Brothers & Sisters. According to Starpulse.com, Flockhart admits that she didn’t know how difficult it would be to function as a working mother.
The star revealed, "All of a sudden, I wasn’t home to pick Liam up from school, and I realized it wasn’t really OK, and I wasn’t happy, and I was scratching my eyes out. I couldn’t believe I’d put myself in this situation."
Luckily for Flockhart, she has the support of her boyfriend, Harrison Ford, who is like a father to the boy.
