NME.com reports that Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler filed a lawsuit yesterday (September 24) against bloggers who had been impersonating him on the Internet.
Tyler didn’t know who the phonies were, but he sued them anyway. He thinks that they are the same individuals who posted similar blogs last year.
The offenders were posting blogs as if they were Steven Tyler and his girlfriend, Erin Brady, writing details on their private lives. Additionally, they made reference to the singer’s late mother, which the singer found very hurtful.
The rock star is seeking an injunction, which would prevent people from falsely using his identity in the future.
