The Hollywood Reporter indicates that Screen Media Films will distribute the racial drama, Spinning Like Butter, in which Sarah Jessica Parker plays the main character.
In the film, Parker plays the dean of a New England university who faces a difficult situation when one of her African-American students receives an anonymous, racist letter.
Mylkelki Williamson, Beau Bridges and Miranda Richardson are also part of the cast.
The film experienced financial problems during the shoot in 2005, leaving the cast and crew temporarily without pay.
Spinning Like Butter will be released in 2009.
