No Sequel for Sex and the City

The star who plays Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker, doesn’t want to make the next Sex and the City movie.

Despite how successful it was in theatres, being part of the film sequel to Sex and the City is out of the question for Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, the Manolo Blahnik shoe fanatic.

"It has taken the last two years of my life to get to this point. To ask for anything beyond that, honestly, we would have to be greedy. I don’t really even feel that it’s in our control," explained the 43-year-old actress and producer.

The star had given a lot of thought to her decision and confessed, "It wasn’t difficult to let go, I think that maybe it’s because I’ve always sort of looked at this as literature. Maybe it’s because we have had so many chapters to tell. It’s always bittersweet, but I never have felt a need to do beyond what had been on the page."

Last week, Chris North, who plays Mr. Big, told the press that the film’s sequel was expected to be shot in London.
