While being interviewed by Rolling Stone at the premiere of his film Battle in Seattle, Benjamin, also known as André 3000, revealed that his solo album should be released before the end of the year, or in early 2009.
When asked about collaborations, Benjamin said, “I’ve pretty much been working with myself. I’ve never really been that big on collaboration. I have a concept, and all the soundscapes are already in my head, so I just have to figure out how to get there."
The 33-year-old musician refused to reveal any more details about the yet-untitled album.
