According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cam Gigandet (The O.C., Never Back Down), Shane West (ER, A Walk to Remember) and Rachael Leigh Cook (Nancy Drew, Descent) are currently in talks to join the cast of the action film Kerosene Cowboys.
Directed by Mario Van Peebles (Love Kills, Standing Knockdown), the film follows an elite U.S. Marine attack squadron. Gigandet would play a virtuous pilot, West would be his colleague and Cook would take on the role of an investigative journalist with whom Gigandet falls in love.
Filming will begin in October in St. Petersburg, Russia and at a Naval Air Station in Nevada, where producers have obtained authorisation to film.
