Paul McCartney Heads to Israel

Despite the demands of pro-Palestinian groups, Paul McCartney will not be cancelling his concert in Tel Aviv.

The former Beatle will not give in to the requests of several pro-Palestinian groups, demanding that he cancel his concert scheduled for September 25 in Tel Aviv.

“I was approached by different groups and political bodies who asked me not to come here. I refused. I do what I think, and I have many friends who support Israel,” said Paul McCartney.

In 1965, the Israeli government cancelled a Beatles concert, because officials believed that the band would "corrupt the nation’s youth."
