While Jennie Garth has signed on for five more episodes of 90210, Shannen Doherty, who had resumed her role as Brenda, is resigning from the show, at least for the rest of the season, reports PerezHilton.com.
Doherty kept her commitment to shoot four episodes, but is now refusing to make any further appearances. The actress explains,"They asked me to do a lot more. I’m in the middle of pitching a show, [so] I couldn’t commit to more than [I did]."
